About the Author Elizabeth Carpenter and her 13 year old son Sam Freund moved to New York in 1995. They decided that a good family freindly guide to restuarants in New York needed to be written and set off exploring the multitude of restuarants in New York City. Kids Eat New York was the result of that endeavor. Now, Kids Eat Broadway is an offshoot of that first book. Sam, an aspiring young actor, loves the Theatre and he and his Mom thought that parents would appreciated a review of shows from a kids point of view with age suitabilty ratings.
